The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is excited to partner with the City of Coachella for a festive holiday adoption event during their annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Parade celebrations.

Holiday Parade Adoption Event

Friday, December 5th
5:30pm–7:30pm
Veterans’ Memorial Park, Downtown Coachella

We’ll be on site with adoptable pets looking for loving homes during one of Coachella’s biggest family events of the year. With the parade, holiday activities, and local food vendors all happening around the park, this is the perfect setting to meet your new companion.

Tree Lighting Announcement

Wednesday, December 3
5:30pm • Coachella City Hall

During the City of Coachella’s annual Tree Lighting ceremony, featuring hometown hero recognition and performances from local students, a Palm Springs Animal Shelter representative will appear on stage with one of our adoptable dogs to help announce the upcoming adoption event.

A Holiday Celebration with Heart

This year’s theme, An Enchanted Holiday Parade with Elf & Friends, is all about joy and community spirit, making it the perfect opportunity to highlight adoptable animals and create meaningful connections. With so many families in attendance, we’re looking forward to helping pets find their forever homes just in time for the holidays.
