DESCRIPTION:Join us for Pet Talk: Frisky Business Cat Café on Wednesday\, August 5\, 2026\, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Frisky Business Cat Café\, 4781 E Palm Canyon Dr.\, Suite F\, Palm Springs\, CA 92264.  \n\n\n\nOur featured presenter will be Claire Rogers (Mrs. Frisky)\, owner of Frisky Business Cat Café\, who will share the inspiring story behind the café\, the impact of more than 160 cat adoptions\, why senior\, shy\, hospice\, and often overlooked cats deserve a chance\, the importance of community partnerships and Trap Neuter Return (TNR)\, the rewards and challenges of operating a mission driven small business\, and the future vision for the Von Cleveland Sanctuary and expanded rescue efforts. The event will begin with a welcome and introductions at 3:00 PM\, followed by Claire’s presentation\, a question and answer session and closing remarks.  \n\n\n\n***As a special thank you\, each guest who RSVP’s and attends will receive one complimentary coffee or smoothie\, courtesy of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter!

We operate the Palm Springs Animal Shelter\, Desert Wildlife Center\, and Desert Community Animal Center\, providing lifesaving care for homeless pets\, injured wildlife\, and pet owners throughout the Coachella Valley. SUMMARY:Clear the Shelters 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us for Clear the Shelters on Saturday\, August 15 and Sunday\, August 16 at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter! We’ll be open 10 a.m.–5 p.m. both days with adoption fees sponsored by Marco Colantonio Real Estate Group. \n\n\n\nOur shelter is incredibly full\, especially with larger dogs\, and this is a great opportunity to help us make room for more animals who need us. Dogs\, cats\, puppies and kittens will all be available for adoption throughout the weekend. \n\n\n\nKGAY will be broadcasting live from the shelter on Saturday from 10 a.m.–noon\, and NBC Palm Springs will be featuring Clear the Shelters throughout the week leading up to the event. \n\n\n\nCome meet your new best friend and help us Clear the Shelters!
