PET FOOD BANK.

Opened in 2015, Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter’s Pet Food Bank provides over 5,000 pounds of pet food each year to pet owners in need. Its mission is to help support pet guardians keeping pets in their homes and out of the shelter.

Friends Pet Food Bank currently partners with Mizell Senior Center, AIDS Assistance Program (AAP), Well in the Desert, and Bloom In The Desert Ministries. Please contact these agencies for more information on qualifications and how to join the program.

Our success is due directly to the kindness of our donors and friends. Donations of wet and dry, unopened pet food can be dropped off at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter: 4575 E. Mesquite Ave. Palm Springs. Donation can be dropped off at any time in their donation bin outside the front door. Monetary donations are always welcome and can be made online or mailed to the shelter address.

If you know of someone in need or would like to help, contact Anthony Ercolani at 760-832-6231, x 102 or petfoodbank@psanimalshelter.org.
