About Hero
Hero has already won so many hearts, and once you meet him, it’s easy to see why! At just 11 months old, this happy, affectionate boy has an incredible spirit and a whole lot of love to give.
Hero has been with us since April, and his enthusiasm for life is contagious. He loves belly rubs, toys, meeting new people, and especially playing with his canine buddies in playgroup. He’s full of energy, affection, and the kind of happiness that’s impossible not to smile about. Nothing seems to dampen his joyful outlook!
Hero is also quite the survivor. After overcoming parvovirus, he became one of our Love Fund recipients, receiving specialized veterinary care for a condition affecting his spine. A cyst in his mid back causes him to walk a little differently.
Through it all, Hero continues to live life with an enthusiasm that’s truly inspiring. He’s ready for a home where he can be loved for exactly who he is, with plenty of playtime, belly rubs, and adventures ahead.
