Meet Blue Shadow! 💙
Blue Shadow is an adult blue-nose Pit Bull with a big head, an even bigger heart, and some serious couch-potato skills.
Currently living in our Canine Behavior & Care office, Blue Shadow has quickly made himself right at home—and has had no accidents, so he appears to be housetrained. He’s a pretty easygoing guy who is happiest hanging out with his people, relaxing with a natural chew, or carrying around one of his beloved soft toys.
And then there’s the dragon. 🐉
Blue Shadow has a favorite stuffed dragon, and when someone comes into the office, he’ll often grab it and proudly bring it over to show off his prized possession. Add a wagging tail, and you’ve got Blue Shadow’s version of a proper welcome.
He enjoys meeting new people, walks nicely on leash (once his business is done), is food motivated, and already knows “sit.”
Despite his sturdy Pit Bull build, he’s definitely more interested in quality couch time than running a marathon.
Blue Shadow has also been introduced to both male and female dogs at the shelter and has done well. He’s been friendly and social during his interactions, although his play style can be vocal. If you already have a dog at home, we require a dog-to-dog meet to help make sure everyone feels comfortable and their personalities are a good match.
If your idea of the perfect companion is a sweet, low-key guy who will greet you with a wagging tail and proudly present you with his favorite dragon, Blue Shadow might just be your guy. 💙🐉
