The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is excited to announce our first summer day camp. It’s called Animal Camp and will feature two or three animal presentations daily during each one-week session for elementary-aged children.
The campers will learn about, meet, and interact with horses, lizards, turtles, goats, and, of course, cats and dogs. They’ll even be able to bottle-feed newborn kittens! The campers will have lessons in dog and cat body language, dog bite prevention, animal anatomy from our amazing medical team, and how to make healthy snacks. There will be fun music and exciting crafts projects, as well.
Tuition for the week of day camp is $450*

Scholarships are available. A generous grant from the City allows us to offer substantial scholarships to families currently receiving EBT/Snap/CalFresh benefits. Please fill out the application, and we will do everything we can to support your child and ensure they can participate in Animal Camp as long as there is still space available.
