DESERT WILDLIFE CENTER UPCOMING EVENTS.

Please join us for our Desert Wildlife Center Grand Opening on Saturday, May 17th from 9-11AM in Indio. A program of the Greater Palm Springs Animal Allies, we are in the final stages of completing extensive renovations to the facility and procurement of all necessary local, state and federal permits. We anticipate that we will be able to begin accepting birds for rehabilitation in the next few weeks.

At our grand opening, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Tour the Desert Wildlife Center and learn how we will help sick, injured and orphaned wildlife, starting with birds
  • Meet our new Desert Wildlife Center Director Mikah Curtis
  • Purchase needed supplies and equipment
  • Investigate ways in which you can volunteer and support our local wildlife
  • Financially support the Center through donations and various naming opportunities

We have been working on the opening of the Desert Wildlife Center for over a year, and are thrilled that our new Center is close to becoming a reality. We hope to see you on Saturday, May 17th!
